RDEK feedback on Fort Steele Solar

Approval by the regional district

The board of Directors of the REGIONAL DISTRICT OF EAST KOOTENAY (RDEK) met on  September 4, 2015 and decided to advise the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations (MFLNRO) that RDEK supports the Node Engineering Crown land application for an Investigative Licence to assess the potential for a solar farm on Crown land north of Kootenay Highway between Cranbrook and Fort Steele.

This resolution is on page 5 of the Minutes of RDEK board meeting

Notes: This is only one step toward the final approval, which has to be granted by the Crown.
